Sponsored by our wonderful community partnerships and generous donations, ATOL offers two birthday party packages for children who do not have the opportunity to enjoy their “special day” due to circumstances beyond their control.
These At-Risk Youth can enjoy either a Bubble Ball birthday experience or a Princess For A Day birthday party experience. The Bubble Ball party program provides a party for up to 16 kids and guarantees them a minimum 3 hours of event time. The Princess For A Day program is tailored for a young child who prefers to be pampered for the day with a “Disney Princess Makeover” theme.
The sole purpose of these events are to help the child escape from their everyday reality and to experience love, appreciation and support from the community on their “special day.”
Being mentored by a fellow community leader is an opportunity which is available to all of our clients. The Neighbor’s Keeper program provides an individual (the Mentee) the opportunity to identify areas of their life which are limiting their current levels of performance.
Some areas where Mentors can provide support to the Mentee are with personal leadership skills, work or school issues, relationship or family concerns, monetary-related issues, or simply a lack of general goal setting.
When working with institutions each of our leadership programs are required to be linked with a mentor-ship follow up program for the purposes of supporting the recent program graduates.
Coaching opportunities present a wonderful way for us to engage our local community leadership in an effort to engage spiritual and emotional support for our at-risk populations. Most of the meetings with your Mentee with occur at a prearranged site location, but a few of the meetings may require you to invest in a positive “social experience” for the Mentee.
The Neighbor’s Keeper mentor-ship program requires a brief phone interview with a follow up physical meeting if considered, a written agreement of terms the mentor must agree to, and the signing of a minimum 9-month contract in order to enroll into the program.
This program provides a small $100 stipend at the conclusion of the program in an effort to provide acknowledgment of the financial burden Mentors will take on by accepting this position.
This workshop provides an interactive, group-based leadership activity where each participant has the opportunity to reflect based on their personal lives and their chosen interests. Each participant will draw a diagram which we call the “Tree of Life.” This tree is a representation of the core values which they choose to live their lives by.
The “Tree of Life” helps the individual align their current short term goals within their personally-chosen core values. The participant will leave the workshop both with a profound sense of who they are and with their own keepsake artwork on a large, poster-sized Post-It sticky paper.
ATOL provides a variety of activities for our youth to engage in that will allow them to think outside of the box. We offer a physical activity that engages each of their senses while teaching the importance of teamwork and communication.
Without communication, the game becomes complicated. The sad truth is that each of us humans makes it complicated by over-thinking the present moment. Our current “contexts” can really be limiting what is possible.
Greatness is achieved only when we each can open ourselves up to the larger possibilities that others will contribute for ourselves or toward our overall common purpose.
In partnership with our community, ATOL provides a dynamic opportunity to get physical exercise, build relationships, and learn how to work through hardships in a 5-Day Summer Camp.
We start off with some really great resources offering their extensive expertise in various sporting backgrounds. After 2 days of intensive sports programming, we shift the focus into an interactive educational workshop to understand the importance of teamwork, depending on others, and integrity.
This day focuses on personal leadership and how an individual can contribute to the larger teams purpose. We then finish the tournament with a 2-day knockout round tournament, where the winning team gets a surprise reward.
The Holistic Personal Leadership Program allows participants the opportunity to re-frame their relationship with personal integrity. Through a variety of visual aids, performing arts exercises, academic methods, and guest speakers we are able to fully integrate a holistic character development program for our developing adolescents.
The ugly reality is that our current school systems are failing miserably in touching on areas such as personal responsibility, organizational integrity, servant leadership, financial literacy, etc.
This program is 8-12 weeks in duration with once-a-week meetings.
The Global Education Initiative is our choice to accept America’s role in both a historical and a modern economic sense. Our efforts to engage in optimal leadership requires us to proactively be involved in building a better future where suffering still exists not only in our home, but around the world.
It is ATOL Foundation’s desire to help rebuild our world through relationship building and annual donations. We are a founding partner who has led the establishment of the following project partnerships:
